Politics and Film

This section includes material from the American Political Science Association's Conference Group on Politics and Film. The papers are in Adobe PDF, which requires a free plug-in reader (version 3 or newer). The reader is available from Adobe's web site.   Some papers and other content in this section contains links to Real Video clips. Viewing these clips requires a free plug-in player (version G2 or newer). The player is available from the Real Networks web site.

Multimedia Classrooms

This section includes illustrated descriptions and video tours of a variety of multimedia classrooms used to teach politics. Its purpose is to provide examples and contacts for those involved in planning and using multimedia classrooms. Viewing the videos requires the Real player (version G2 or newer), which is a available for download from Real Networks.

This section includes highly selective and annotated list of links to resources for teaching politics. In particular, the focus is on multimedia materials for teaching U. S. politics.  Some of the sites listed below allow reproduction of their content without further permission, but many do not.  It is incumbent on the user accessing material linked to from this page to make sure they are not violating copyrights when using the material.  This list has been compiled by Tom Scerbo.
